Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will play in match 5 of the IPL 2021 at Chennai’s Chepauk stadium on Tuesday.
2-time champions KKR won their opening match against SRH by 10 runs and will look for a better show by their middle-order. Eoin Morgan will might decide to face Rohit Sharma’s men with the same eleven. If any change, Harbhajan Singh can be replaced by Kuldeep Yadav but that looks highly unlikely.
Mumbai Indians lost their IPL opener for 9th time in a row and will look to bounce back after the defeat against RCB. Chris Lynn scored a fifty in the match but preferre opener Quinton de Kock is sure to replace him at the top.
If at all Lynn is accommodated, MI could opt to drop South Africa Marco Jansen. The defending champions will still be left with 4 seamers including Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya (if they bowl).
